Warranty Policy

At Goo Goo Goodies, we want you and your little ones to enjoy our products safely and confidently. That’s why we provide a 12-month warranty on all our products, in addition to the rights and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Warranty Coverage

All products sold by Goo Goo Goodies are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This includes baby and kids accessories such as highchair accessories, pram accessories, Yoto Player accessories, and similar items.

Important Safety Note: Our products are designed for everyday use, but children’s safety always comes first. Always follow the instructions included with the product, and never leave children unattended while using baby or kids accessories. Damage caused by misuse, lack of supervision, or use inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose is not covered under this warranty.

Limited Warranty Conditions

Our warranty:

  • Applies only to the original purchaser

  • Applies only to products used in Australia

  • Requires proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or confirmation email)

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper handling

  • Use contrary to manufacturer instructions or safety guidelines

  • Failure to provide reasonable care or maintenance

  • Damage caused by accidents, impact, water or liquid exposure (unless the product is specifically designed for such use)

  • Unauthorised modifications, repairs, or alterations

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality

  • Damage caused by external events beyond our control (e.g. fire, flood, or other natural events)

 

Exclusions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or warranty claims, except where required by Australian Consumer Law:

  • Perishable or hygiene-sensitive items

  • Wear-and-tear components

  • Clearance or sale items (unless faulty)

  • Customised or personalised products

  • Items damaged due to incorrect installation or use

Warranty Claims Process

To make a warranty claim, please contact us at hello@googoogoodies.com.au

Please include:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or videos showing the fault (where applicable)

Once your claim is assessed:

  • If the issue is confirmed to be a minor failure, we may offer a repair or replacement

  • If the issue is a major failure, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law

  • In some cases, we may need to consult with the manufacturer or supplier before confirming the appropriate remedy

 

Assessment & Return of Goods

  • Warranty claims are generally assessed on a return-to-base basis, unless otherwise agreed

  • You may be required to return the item for inspection

  • If the fault is confirmed as a warranty issue, we will cover reasonable costs associated with repair or replacement

  • If the fault is not covered by warranty, you may be responsible for repair costs and return shipping

We reserve the right to decline a warranty claim where inspection shows the issue was caused by misuse, accidental damage, or factors excluded under this policy.

 

Australian Consumer Law Notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
